Mission Statement

Our mission is to offer immediate support for basic and essential needs to individuals, families, and care givers for those dealing with cancer in South Carolina.

Our Story

Bernie’s Luv Cancer Outreach was established in 2022 in memory and honor of my Beautiful heavenly Angel, my incredible loving mother, Bernice Lanham. Bernice was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2016 and she lost her battle six short months after being diagnosed.

Bernice spent her adult life caring for others. She worked in hospitals, nursing homes, and Alzheimer assistant living facilities. Seniors held a very special place in her heart.

Bernice displayed compassion, grace, and love to all that she had the pleasure to meet and assist in any way she could. Bernice tremendously enjoyed helping people in need. Whether they were ill and needed some loving care or alone with no family or friends to lean on.

Bernice left a huge impact on the many lives she touched throughout her life. Bernice’s compassion and love will continue through the nonprofit ‘Bernie’s Luv’. This beautiful Angel continues her work from heaven.
